We had a great vacation in New York, but our trip started with a terrible plane ride! We were supposed to leave at 11:59 pm Friday but when we arrived at our gate they announced it would be delayed 45 minutes. About 2 hours into that flight there was a medical emergency so we had to make an emergency landing in Minneapolis. We sat in the plane for about an hour and a half and then took off again. Because of that delay we missed our flight from JFK to Rochester by 10 minutes! We got on the next flight out but had to wait almost 4 hours. The good side to this though was, the boys slept through most of the flights because it was a red-eye. Once we got to Grandma's house, Dillon was excited to see his bed. Grandma blew up a boat raft for him to sleep in. He fit in it perfect and he looked so comfortable! How creative!!
And of course he had to have all the stuffed animals he could find!
Tanner also did great in his bed. He learned to crawl great while we were in New York and thinks he is so big when you stand him up to hold on all by himself!
